20 – Dynamo, Eindhoven, Netherlands
21 – La Scène Bastille, Paris, France
23 – Music Hall, Barcelona, Spain
24 – Moby Dick, Madrid, Spain
25 – Kafe Antzokia, Bilbao, Spain
27 – Sommercasino, Basel, Switzerland
28 – 59:1, Munich, Germany
30 – Lido, Berlin, Germany
31 – Mephisto, Hannover, Germany
01 – Luxor, Cologne, Germany
02 – Alter Schlachthof, Lingen, Germany
03 – Kammgarn, Kaiserslautern, Germany
So, probably the most random line up I have seen for a while. Don Broco, one of my favourite UK bands were supposed to headline the White Rabbit tonight but a mix up now meant they were first on the bill with some hardcore metal? This was going to be interesting to say the least!
I loved how it was half past six in the evening and the White Rabbit was rammed. Don Broco really have a large following in Plymouth now, with most of the crowd sporting their famous ‘Sexy Girls Come Up To Me T-Shirts’. As expected, a cracking set list with new songs ‘Beautiful Morning’ and ‘Top of the World’ being personal favourites and a good mix of old classics such as ‘Thug Workout’ whacked in there too. These boys never seem to disappoint me, ever!
Lead vocalist, Rob Damiani, sounds a little strained tonight but lets be honest, who’s voice would not be tired after singing practically every night for the past two weeks. Never the less, they still sound awesome. Rob is modelling a ‘Dead Poets’ t-shirt which I find a surprise from his normal attire. What happened to the brightly coloured vests Rob?
Carnage erupts during their last track of the night ‘Dreamboy’, as they ask fans to get on their friends shoulder for a wall of death. At this point you can imagine where I was stood, at the bar where it was safe!
An entertaining performance by Bedford’s finest and I look forward to coming across them at a festival this year. Well done lads!
